This week mom and dad Bates came to town! We had a lot of fun with them. We showed off this beautiful area, browsed at houses, played games and enjoyed each others company. It was so nice!
They did come for another reason besides just seeing us though. Dan's uncle retired from the Navy after 35 years of service. They had a pretty cool ceremony for him on-board the aircraft carrier where he was last stationed. It was very cool!
Plus we got to ride a ferry, which is always fun. Did I mention how much I love this area?! So beautiful.
It was a very cool ceremony, and we're so glad we were able to attend!
