This week Dan finished his student teaching. {yay!!} So we had to celebrate, and if you know anything about my husband you know that he loves Marvel, so Iron Man was definitely a must.
For his birthday Jen & Jordan sent us a theater packet for two tickets and a gift card for concessions, so what better time to use it than the Iron Man premiere?! It turns out they don't do midnight premieres here {or maybe everywhere?} so we got to see it at 9pm Thursday night -- which is even better since we're not so good at staying up super late anymore. ;)
The movie was so good! Dan was a little disappointed with some parts, but only because he was expecting something different. I thought it was great, and definitely recommend it :)
Overall it was a great way to kick off our weekend and summer! Now it's time to get back to applying for teaching jobs... we'll see where that leads us ;)
